After looking at a quite number of offers from Hetzner, OVH etc. I looked into Mevspace frankly speaking. Since I was looking for a custom setup so I mailed them with my query, they responded quickly and after a few hours of conversation we came to an agreement.

I made the payment without any delay. They delivered the server within reasonable time alright. Then it came to my attention that the server they delivered is on Debian and not on CentOS or AlamaLinux. I asked them to reinstall it. At first they acknowledged the problem and said they will do it. But then after 2 hours they informed me that they couldn't because my setup was custom.

I got the setup but on Debian. It is fine. I just need every now and then help to run basic updates and upgrades.

So, my suggestion to yall will be make sure the OS first while getting a custom setup.

Have one of their game servers for 6 months now. Haven't faced any issue really. Although I think they lack datacenters world wide. When I travel their speed isn't regular, loading time and uptimes differ a little. Which will not be a problem for many. But for those who travel it cane be pretty hectic.

I am starting this all in one thread and providing my review as first.

Things that looks good :-

Performance wise one of the best. Not gonna lie. Reliable uptime and very fast loading speeds. Their servers have got all the new equipment such as the SSD storage and other what not's so the customers can get a seamless service. Their customer support is also good and but many often you will not need it though since they have quite and extensive knowledge base as well which can and will sort many things for you. Their interface is also very user friendly and their products comes with great security as well. They also have a good backup system. Although I relied on my on cron. Plans are also flexible and easy to upgrade.

Things that doesn't look so good :-

Their plans can be a little pricey for beginners. And also comes with higher renewal rates. Their interface is good but if don't need to do anything much. If your work requires a bit more playing with the interface then it can be tough sometimes. You have to follow a steep learning curve. The knowledge base is there but you have to know what you are doing. And also quite important to mention that their basic plans doesn't have much features so in order to get some of the additional features you will have to upgrade and it is not often low cost.

Has anyone from here or India, has any experience with them. I am currently looking into their products. One of them is very suitable for us. But bouldn't find any good reliable reviews online. As they resemble with other things.

One of our client's law site is with them. It doesn't need much of any update. But a lot of people do visit it. It works sort of like a notice board. So, in terms of stability I will give them 10/10. Support comes next to mind. It surely would be 9/10. Because they are a reseller I am guessing. Atleast they are honest. The negative thing that might some eye brows raised for some is that their offers are very limited. And also many don't prefer windows server. But their support even with windows is good. They made a fresh install without any issue once I just mentioned it.

This month started with a blast of spam bots.

We have been using it since 2001. It was one of the best back then and even in present day. Had no complaints regarding service and product. However they say they give full root access. But I don't think so sure they help you in every possible way. But you want to do something through root then you will find obstructions.

That's why I have decided to move on from them. Although I will definitely say that who doesn't care about root access and also doesn't prefer doing anything while running an server. It can be a very good choice for them.
