Converted clicks or clicks, doesn't mean conversion?

I am having a debate with my friend. Converted clicks or clicks means leads right? They doesn't mean conversions. My friend disagrees.

The thing is you are not wrong. Yes they are leads.

But your friend is also not wrong. Now-a-days only sales or something such sort isn't only considered as conversions. Any thing that fulfills the marketers goal can be conversions. Many companies just gather data and insights. So, you filling an half form or giving incomplete profile page info is also something.
