Single vs Dual Processors for VPS / Dedicated Server
#2
If the same processor is offered just with doubled cores and threads then obviously the one with more cores will have better performance.

But honestly I haven't seen any hosting to offer same processor with just doubled core & threads. They may offer similar processor but not the exact same one. And if they do then I encourage you to check the price tag. It will surely be double or no where near the single cores.

Go for Acronis. The other one can be expensive for a small or mid level business.brian — 02:49 PM
