I will say that you should be willing to take any challenge you get. Don't confide in a definite way of or type of work, be versatile. Listen to others, compare their ideas with yours. Challenge yourself from time to time.

Truth is always good. So, if you can write about your real emotions and real experiences then your content will always stand out.
