Many people have told me this that adding a bunch of advertisers by submitting a ban list in adsense increases the CPC in adnsense & increases income. My query here is that even possible?

Yeah, it affects but just a little nothing more. Well if you ask me it doesn't hurt anyone to add a list. You will only gain some.
