Which is better to use, an exact match domain name or branded domain name? Which will help more on SEO?

If you have a brand which is already established and you get a domain to it then its going to work. But if you don't have any brand and willing to build one then exact match domains are better.

Both have their importance in other ways like if brand name domain is old it will be beneficial then and for new domain try to use exact match.
