Google Adsense is not really good for forum. Forum members does not really much click on ads and they as per click. Yeah, it may be an option or alternative but in my opinion CPM networks like Tribal Fusion are the best.

It works for me. They pay me as of CPM rates and they are really good. I think that the matter Adsense really chooses to pay via CPM is that if you have a bounce rate of less than 20%.

You have enough member and getting enough posts per day say 100 then I will say that GA is not a good option. Go for direct ad selling and also try Affiliate Marketing. You will earn more.
