Has anyone succeeded in blog promotion and got fair ROI by using Google Adwords?

I haven't used Adwords for simple blog promotion. They pretty much expensive for blog's unless your blog is a huge one and has huge purposes.

If you have allotted budget for Google Adwords it will be a big help for the blog promotion but its highly recommended to establish first your blog for the target audience.
