Is one backlink tool enough?
#1
To check backlinks how many tools do you use? Paid ones are good. So, do you guys use more than one paid tools?
#2
In many cases yes. If you go on analyzing backlinks of a big site, it can have backlinks that can number in millions. One tool (even the paid one) can do much (or all) work but sometimes you just have to double check them which arises the need of a second tool.

I say this to OP if you are not dealing with clients then one tool is enough. Even some can go with the free ones.

What do you mean by past and present?

One tool is enough but If you want more control so you can use more than one but It depends upon you and how much budget you have so be very much sure about that.

Just to be plain and simple. If you are not an agency or running any kind of SEO business then its not a very good idea (not a wise one too) to use more than one tool or service.

And yeah when I was into these business I used more than one tools too. I relied on majestic, ahrefs and SEMrush.
