Is it safe for non-eCommerce sites to use cookies?

I mean to track the clients. And what not's about their taste and interest.

The reason I am asking this because recently I encountered with some marketers who were complaining about these cookie practices.

Many sites uses them. So, that's not the issue. The problem is that many sites uses them very aggressively and don't even think about user experience.

I have used them. A little bit of use is not much of a problem/

I personally uses and prefers them. Its just guns in US. You can use them as you want but how you use them maybe not liked by others. Tongue

Everybody uses them. Those who don't like it. Its their problem.
