People say that if you want to be an expert copywriter then you have to practice. But on what should I practice on? I mean not looking to make money but to get the general idea of copywriting.

Take any blog post or newspaper article and re-write it in your own words.

It can be done in various ways. You can rewrite an article from a newspaper, a blog, or even from a sales pamphlet.
