Keyword ranking high but not getting much traffic

I also had a similar issue with my website. Some keywords were ranking well, but the traffic was still very low. I contacted a digital marketing company and they suggested checking search volume, keyword intent and website content. Sometimes ranking high does not help much if very few people are searching for that keyword.
