It's one of the domain for our apps.

We are currently in the process of moving all of our app-domains to some cheap & reliable registrar whch are originally scattered accross different myriad registrars. But who would know transferring will be such hard. It's been 20 days now I have requested our EPP code. And they are unable to provide me one.

Whenever I try to do it myself. They show error of some kind. Sometimes, internal server error and sometimes they straight say page couldn't be loaded.

I tried to raise a ticket. But after 8 days. They answered me with another question asking which domain exactly I am asking for. I mean it's in the ticket just look. How can anybody or any service provider be this bad?

I am running a small closed group community. Although it is opened to others to see and join. Still now we have a very few hundred hand selected members.

Looking for a host which will be reliable in terms of customers support. If ticket system, chat system both are available then better.
Should provide SSL and other protections. Since, we have couple of hundred members so it can be said that the daily visitors limit will be under 1k. And pageviews will be around 5k.

My problem is that I am new to this. And all I see is very sketchy reviews which are paid I am guessing.

I am currently on  a free server.

So, we decided to go with Acronis. Since, they have quite a reputation. But what I am looking right now is that for cpanel or plesk panel they provide nothing of such sort which can be considered as direct sales for their customers. Even without those panels.

All I am getting is some third party entity advocating about their services. Am I missing here something?

A domain which is in Godaddy. Is listed as 'For Sale'. Because obviously I put it there.

But when we go to other registrars some says "For Sale" and some says "Taken". Why the discrimination ?

BTW I am using Godaddy nameservers.

I am currently in process to move my eCommerce site from a VPS to a dedicated server. I am willing to install Plesk on that. As, I am familiar with the setup.

However, I am not familiar with the pricing and licensing of Plesk. How they usually charge people? Since, I will be running multiple webservers in it. Including the backup and email ones.

Any suggestions !

I am new to this dedicated server thing. And having much problem with the managing service and other what not?

What is the easiest way to backup a Dedicated Sever?

Taking snapshots, I have done in Cloud before. Basically, the service which managed the cloud, did it for me. But now I have moved to dedicated server. And using a different service to manage the bare metal server. And I am not seeing anything about snapshots in their provided service features.

Any ideas or suggestions ?!

The urls names will be like /category1/my-flower-pot

I have been suggested that I should have proper pages fall under proper category. So, does it mean that I have to make my urls like this?

With the rise of AI and other things. Do you people think that domaining will loose its value in the near future?

One thing that comes to mind while I think of it. That apps becoming more and more popular. People shifting from sites and apps more.

AI and other things are also there. But I highly doubt that the domains itself will loose their value.

Massive fluctuations on many niches since the last 24 hours.

Asian traffic in our case is one the decline and continental US traffic is on the rise. So, revenue should also increase !! That would be the general scene for many niches.

But actually it's the opposite.

This type of non-transparent behavior from Google is creating major distrust among the advertisers. I mean would you pay for a third world country more than a first world country?
