Is it wise to create a separate site for mobile users or it will be better if I optimize my existing site to it? Share your opinions.

Actually it totally depends on the type of site at hand. If your site is like amazon where you sell staff and services then I will recommend to build a separate site for it and if your site is like blog type or a community then it is better to optimize your present site for mobile devices.

Yeah, I totally agree with you on this one.
Creating separate website will cost you money. Don't do it unless it is completely necessary.

Although its depends on your site but my personal point of view is that you should optimize your present site and not build another one.
