A huge surge in bots since the last 2 days. Traffic has also increased in many niches. Is google rolling back the March one?

Nothing is rolling back. G creates a false sense of stability once in a while.

Many blogs these days don't provide quality content and yet they earn more than small communities, boards and forums who have quality content.
Why? Because they rank easily. And also can manipulate SERP's easily. G has done a good job in this case. Atleast forums are getting their due.

Indeed. So far looking good. But I am having second thoughts on G and the cookie debacle which will erupt soon.
