They are good but there modules are not flexible and its bothers me a lot.

I am trying to create a store on office supplies. It will be a local store nothing much. But I do intend to expand the area if the ROI is right.

Personally I don't prefer it. If you are building an eCommerce site then paid solutions are only the best possible options.

Try Magneto. Its one of the best and also has great support.

I personally prefer X-cart. I host our products with it.
