One site in two languages, does they need separate SEO too?

One site in two different languages, does they need separate SEO too?

I have wondering to ask this question for some time. The first site is in 'en' and the second site is in 'de'. I am talking about link profiles does they need separate ones too?

Nope single link profile is not an option. Sites in separate languages are considered separately so you have to build separate link profile too.
