A friend of mine's site traffic is getting about 10k uv per month. He applied for adsense but got rejected. How can he monetize this kind of traffic?

If the traffic is targeted then I will suggest that your friend should go for direct ad selling. It will make more money than anything as it involves no third party.

Try creating your own product and sell it. With these kind of traffic you will make a ton of money.
