What type of urls should I use to get more CTR, one is the full form of the url which describes the referring page or use a shortened url which I use in the tweets.

It is preferred that you use the long url. CTR will definitely increase if people already know what page you are leading them to which will increase trust rate.

If you think that the url is too ugly too show. Then why don't you use anchor text for it. Its very good when it comes to emails and also with respect to increasing CTR.

Don't use url shortener services they will just get your CTR rate worse than ever.
