Extracting small keywords from a long tail large keywords

Recently I got an idea of splitting long tails keywords of my niche into small ones and also using their alternate keywords to rank my pages. So, I am looking for any tool which can split the probable keywords and show me the stats of the keyword.

There is no specific tool for that however you can split the words of your large long tail keywords and manually see all of them or combining in different pair as you seem suitable.

There is no such tool for doing that and this kind of tactic in SEO is already as well as nature in the well experienced optimizer.
