Two pages, one should rank better
#1
Suppose there are two pages on one site which are similar and audiences often overlap with each other. Now both of them may exist but only one of them should rank in the rankings.

The things here is like "iPhone 7" and "iPhone 6". Both of them should have their own pages but the page having the latest version of iPhone will rank. In this type of situations what should I do to get my desired page ranked better?

Its actually quite simple. Use canonical tags in order to rank your desired page.

So what values they are going to pass? I mean through those tags.

What do you mean by "what values"?

Obviously SEO value. Isn't that you asked?

So, the other pages will loose their value to get ranked, right? But they still be visible to all if visited.
