How to identify low competition and high search volume keywords without any tool or using a free tool?

The first thing I want to say that its not a strategy for doing business. If you need to do an effective kw research then you need atleast a tool maybe even a free one.

Although you can't identify specifically but you can somehow get an idea about what to target. Check your comptetitor's sites, find the site which is weakest and yet ranking for something. Try to rank for those kw's with which the corresponding site is ranking.

Without Tool we can't get Perfect Keywords for our website , Atleast should use free tool for keyword Analysis.
OR else

Should do competitor Analysis of your competitors you can get some ideas regarding the keywords that are ranking your competitors well in SERP's.

ps: some of the free tools are:
1) Google Keyword Planner
2) small seo tools
3) uber suggest
4) keywords Everywhere

How it can be possible to identify without knowing the keywords search volume? You must have to use a tool or software to check the competition of the keywords!

I get your point here. But OP isn't asking about exact numbers. OP is asking about patterns.
