If re-purposing the content targets new audience then why not. I don't see any problem.

no, i think it will create duplicate content and cause duplicate pages

No we don't re-use our content as there can be a duplicate issue and our website can get penalized for it.

No matter if you repeat the content but no use of repeated content in your blog.
If you modify and republish your content it will be better for retarget people.

No need to repeat the content in your blog because of never retarget the repeated content.
You can update the content and retarget.
