User Generated Irrelevant Content
#1
I have a query here. Our support forum has a general discussion section. People talk about their hobbies, favorite movies etc. Now what is happening that a torrent file of a movie has got posted in the forum. And it is generating a ton of traffic there both organically and direct. What should I do now? Usually we delete these kind of posts.

Torrents violates copyright issues most at the time. If the post content links to the torrent then just delete it don't get greedy over it. Yeah, it may be General Discussion board but still somewhere somehow the torrent file is poking the law. So better be safe then sorry.

Constant moderation is needed. You might not ban the member but surely you have to get rid of all the spammy posts.
