Recently we changed one of our site's from http to https. How long does it take to re-index them in the Google's directory?

There is no specific time for it. It may take some weeks depending on the size of your site. But it will happen eventually.

It takes a variable amount of time. Pages on this website are updated quickly while pages on "smaller" sites can take weeks or months. This is due to several factors including link popularity, frequency of new content, and more.
