Great content can create this kind of miracle, in the case they don't need to build links. Things will just go viral and they will automatically gain links.

Its not a rocket science. I mean they must have put a tremendous effort on their social media profiles. Facebook itself can send hundreds on visitors everyday.

I understand what you are saying but 50-60k visitors per month. That means they are getting 1.5-2 k per day. It is not possible unless they have huge follower base.
