What is Crawl Depth?

Crawl depth refers to the extent to which the the crawler crawls the web page. Some page will be having sub pages to be crawled. The pages and subpages grow deeper in a manner similar to the way folders and subfolders (or directories and subdirectories) grow deeper in computer storage.
