It doesn't matter how long is your list. The thing that depends is that how much quality the list contains. Here comes a number of questions such as whether it is single or double opt-in. How old is the list? How you have obtained the list? etc.

It depends on is that how much quality the list contains.there is no limit for the build a list of 5000 or more.
