Semantic Search to Long Tail keywords

Semantic search understand the actual contextual meaning of any types keyword. Is it not going to effect the Long Tail keywords Are the long tail keywords going towards extinction?

No matter how much evolution goes in the search algorithms the exact match keywords will always have value. And any page with it will rank higher no matter what happens so long tail keywords will not extinct.

Semantic search is just like AI in search engine and it is not going to affect long tail keywords but to understand the users intent and provide the new and interesting content for the audience.

Semantic Search understands the contextual meaning of the entered phrase. It doesn't mean that it is not going to show the pages with exact same primary keyword.

As long as you are an exact match to that keyword and your content is great. You will always rank better.
