Depend on purpose.
if you wants to share information only with pepole.then single page is better,
but if you have product based company,and connect to consumers on daily basis.use multi page website.
according to seo point of view .multi page websites art easy to ranks ,compare then single page website.

It doesn't matter whether your page is static or not. The thing that matters is whether the pages are responsive or not.
According to niche, demographics and based on other elements the taste of the audience can differ.
