Are there any good plugins to speed up a wordpress site? I am not talking about cache plugin but plugins that will optimize the pagespeed. I hope that I am explaining it alright.

WP Rocket does a bit. But that is not much effective nor much noticeable.
These things happens basically due to hosting companies overloading a server with many sites. Switch to something something good and pagespeed shall improve readily.

In my opinion no plugin causes significant amount of change. A little bit yeah but not much.
