If your SEO methods doesn't work, add SMO and ORM techniques with SEO. SEO is a slow process, so don't worry, it works.

What have you done so far?
If you've done onsite SEO and made sure you've got the links you deserve (no spam!) then it's time to look at content.
Onsite/technical will get you to the first plateau. Content gets you past it.
