Images per post

How many images, do you prefer per post??

Well it can't be said, some posts have 3-5 images and some have only 1, its totally dependent on type of post i am writing.

If it is a narrative kind of post then i prefer 2, if it saying about any process or step by step thing then i prefer each step contain an image and if its news or press release type of post then it is always one basically the logo or significant figure of that post i feature in the image.

I usually use only one, unless it's a really epic how-to post. Remember that images slow down page loading, and that will drive many impatient visitors away. In addition, Google may penalize pages that have slow page load times and poor visitor retention rates. I do think one well-optimized image per post helps dress up a blog or website, however.

I agree. if you are uploading many images then make sure to cut-off the resolutions to make them smaller and hence to load faster.

If I am using a grid layout, then it is very important which image you want to show as featured. This in a way might determine if your post will be read.
