Is it really wise to target alternative keywords of the primary keyword along with the primary keyword on the same page? Isn't going to hurt me for keyword stuffing?

These keywords help to diverse the link building techniques and since they have less search volumes, they can help rank our website higher in search engines easily.

Targeting alternative keywords derived from the main keyword means related keyword phrase and its not keyword stuffing.
